I've been reading TRP for a few years now and in my line of work I see TRP working more than most I think. I'm looking for some advice and outside opinion on my most recent LTR.

Background: 23yo M, 6'2", I've been with 2 girls and dated probably 5-7 women since I've been in high school. I have my own apartment with a dog and am pretty successful thanks to my job I think.

So this girl, I met her this summer when she was just getting hired at my place of work (emergency services). She spent a day basically interning with me and shadowing me. I thought she was cute and cool at the time but knew better than to pursue her so quick.

So I started slowly chatting her up, making my interest known, a few months ago. Ended up having a few beers at a friends house around a bonfire. Traded numbers and social media that night. Like TRP taught me, didn't text or contact her very much and until a few days had passed. End up asking her on a date and ended up going out like 6 or 7 more times in the matter of a month, talking over text pretty often. She is 23 and has very similar beliefs to me in all aspects (I'm fairly conservative on some things, but more libertarian than anything. Some things I'm moderate). We both live in the south so we both have religious families.

Now here's the part where I know you all will be ragging on me. I didn't kiss her until we had been seeing each other for like 3 weeks and hung out a good amount. However, we weren't even dating at the time. I know what you're going to say, but the physical part of relationships is where I don't fall into TRP so much.

So about this girl. She is cute to me, however, most men probably wouldn't agree. She is tall (5'9") which I find hugely attractive since i'm taller than average as well. She wears glasses, but she's more like the cute, homely librarian than nerdy. Think "girl next door" type. Good body and keeps herself pretty fit.

We've discussed things that I always discuss before dating someone, however, I did it with some subletly, and let it come up organically. (Such as n-count, how many exes, family issues, etc)

She has a great relationship with her family (mom, dad, twin brothers) and lives at home still to help take care of everything (pays her parents money to help with bills). She has a lot of self respect and is not a social media demon. She doesn't post often and only has a snapchat and facebook, and neither one is very active. She doesn't hang out on her phone when we're hanging out and neither do I.

So, I ended up asking her about a week and half ago if she wanted to make things official and be in a relationship. She seemed really eager and obviously said yes. She has a lot of green flags (mentioned above), on top of having a low n-count, and although we haven't delved into it much, I've taken away that she probably doesn't have that many exes, more than likely less than me.

The only cons I can find on her is that she was engaged. We talked about it and basically what she explained to me is that they were friends originally but after they got engaged she realized she just didn't have the feelings for him enough to get married. She said that they are still friends and still talk occasionally (which to me is a huge red flag, but the way she talks about him it's like she really just sees him as a friend and has no interest in him).

Another yellow flag I see is that the texting has kinda simmered down and so has the eagerness to hang out. We're only able to see each other some weeks a couple times a week, and some weeks it will be more days than not.

We talk a good amount however she sometimes will go hours without texting me and then avoid telling me what she's doing when I ask her. But, like the other night, she ended up just being out Christmas shopping with her family.

Also, we've kinda agreed to take things slow. Meaning we've only gone as far as light making out, which to me seems pretty slow for seeing each other a month and a half now. But, I don't want to ruin anything because I think we could have a good thing in the future. And I know better than to mateguard or show weakness or constantly ask her what shes doing.

Dread has already been shown to work with her, as I went a while without responding to her one day and she pretty much kept snapping me every hour or so until I responded, and then it was a few words at most.

How should I approach her ex situation? He lives in the same city as us, and from what she's told me, they will hang out rarely and catch up. To me, this is a yellow flag. To be fair, she hasn't seen him since we've officially been dating, that I know of.

Should I bring him up at all or just continue to not give a fuck? She's talked like she plans on keeping me around, and I plan on doing the same. I feel like she has a lot more green flags than she does yellow or red.
