I'm drunk enough to share this and I need to get this out so please bear with me as I tell my story.

In a nutshell, I'm a "privilege"-ass n-word. My family does well and I've gone to college and gotten out of tickets. I'm afraid to tell my own family how I'll be voting this election (full Republican ticket). I live in Texas and this is not how it should be, not here. I did a year in Cali and there's more than one reason I came back. I'm sorry Joe Rogan but you and the rest of your state can't move here. We're doing fine, we don't need any of your policies in place (except legal weed).

Full story, I was born to black parents that qualified as the "talented tenth". Both of them had an intense focus on doing well in their work, so as a consequence hard work was pushed as a value. They came up from very little but busted ass to get to upper middle class. Unfortunately I'm an asshole so I just coasted as long as I could.

At some point I was lucky enough to both realize that just because I can use my blackness to get somewhere doesn't make it worth it and come into a situation where my race couldn't bail me out (no pun intended). Ironically, that place was California. The handful of racists I know back home are more honest people than most there. Point is, your beliefs don't determine whether you've actually contributed to the human race.

This was originally supposed to be the story of how this one bitch broke my heart and fucked me up inside but I think life is so much more than that. After the RPR life comes back in abundance and to be honest it's really intoxicating. Definitely not as much as booze, but somewhere in the range of really good coffee. There's no point in getting pissed over females.

I'd like to say MGTOW is the conclusion of men saying "hey, I don't think pussy is worth it at the moment," but even that defines it in relation to women and I think that doesn't do justice to the core idea. It's that a man should forge his own path and be his own man. That's a powerful idea, and not one we've heard in a long time. I'm glad that we live in a time when young men can hear this message again.

I worry about my brothers, father, nephews, friends, and cousins. I worry that no one will appreciate what they do because black culture is matriarchal so it's expected that a man will either disappear or work himself to an early death when faced with fatherhood. Thankfully, MGTOW has helped me reforge these relationships with the men in my family, especially my father. Every man deserves the chance to work with his father on some type of project or goal. That is some of the most precious time we ever get.

I have to admit I failed going full monk. It's not worth going into detail, just know that AWALT. For every beautiful woman out there there is an unfortunate motherfucker who has to deal with her shit. Don't be that motherfucker.

This is less of a coherent story and more of a drunken "thank you" to MGTOW for helping me steer my life in a better direction. Y'all gave me a better understanding of how the world works and enabled me to improve my life. I'm in a good place now.

I wish you the best in everything you're trying to do. The world changes with each decision of man.
