I don't doubt that there are some people who have a problem with casual guys but most people don't.

Actually a lot of the time people are hostile to casual women.

There's nothing wrong with having a casual relationship if you're honest about it and the other person consents.

Hetero women can't find casual sex partners and simultaneously expect men not to want casual sex.

The important thing is being honest. I think what men often get in trouble for is pretending like they want a relationship when really they just want sex. And if you personally don't want casual sex, be honest about that too.

And some people will be judgmental. Some people will have a double standard (either way). They're not your problem.

I'd say reddit (and society in general) has a problem with anyone who says "I want to do this, but the people who I do it with are gross for doing it". So the hatred you might be feeling is probably more about a double standard of shaming women for casual sex.

For both genders - casual sex should be done safely (mitigate risk) and as upfront as possible (tell all partners involved that you're only interested in casual). Everyone involved should be concerned about the mental and physical wellbeing of everyone else involved.

If that's all respected, then, by all means, have at it.

I’m a guy and I’m the same way. I’m only interested in casual sex, at least until I find the right woman and I’m ready to settle down with her.
