Went on a double date kinda thing with one of my buddies last night. Had no idea this was happening, just got scooped up by him and noticed the ratios. I’m the guy for this girl tonight. He had his girlfriend, and she brought a friend.

We started the night off by going to a mall nearby. We all looked in some stores, and I said I was getting Starbucks because I want some, and they all join me but I kinda lead it all. Had some small talk, kino with the chick. She laughs at everything I say, even the most stupid simple shit.

Then we go to the main city near us after, but we pick up this dude before we go. He’s 10 mins away, I’m not driving, no problem. Guy was no threat, simple dude who just did reckless shit the entire time we were there. More teasing with the girl, more kino, lead some interesting convos. I’m in no hurry. We drop the friend off.

Then we start driving back to my buddy’s GF’s house. Me and my buddy are 18, and these girl were 16/17. We arrive, and start drinking pretty much immediately. My friend and his GF get drunk that hour. I paced myself, and never really ended up getting shitfaced that night.

My girl is buzzed, still can have an intelligent conversation. Friends tease us to kiss, we end up making out. Pretty good, she’s very into it. I, at least thought, a lot of positive signs came before, so I pursued.

My buddy and his girl leave the room to have sex. I rushed it, but I threw her around me and we started making out. Things end up on the couch after a minute of kissing, and that’s where she stops me. I respected this, and said I’ll stop.

I got up and poured myself a shot, just tried to chill out. She’s going on telling me I’m a great guy, I’m cute, etc. I tell her I’ve heard that one before (thank you liquid courage) and dismiss her. She shows me some picture of her cousin who committed suicide and asked me if I saw that before.

She tells me she can tell I’ve been hurt before, I tell her you don’t know shit and laugh. I chill for a bit just not talking. Order an Uber, and see my way out.

What are some steps I missed, if any? What did I do wrong? Further info, just ask. The fact I didn’t lay didn’t bother me, just confused me. Thought I had enough positive IOI’s. Any feedback is appreciated, thanks.
