I never understood this, all the stories of adopted people being abused or suffering mental illness seem bogus. Not only that, but you would have less children going through a path of oblivion and save the state money and resources by a decent margin

That's not to say I am not aware of some of the cons adoption has too, but like our society would rather have a single mother over adoption, wtf man?
