I currently live with girlfriend, we have a 16 year old, she has a 10 year old. I need to figure out the best exit strategy. Yes, we had a kid, broke up for a long time, then got back together.

I am paying for the house we are renting fully. It has a few months left on the 1 year lease. I am also paying child support despite the kid living with me and me paying for everything for the kids. I know, I'm a fucking idiot, I am trying to fix this situation.

Her residence according to government is somewhere an hour away. Shes using her disability to split on a house with one of her friends up north. She contributes nothing towards rent or utilities of the house I am currently renting for us. Her "disability" is completely mental, as in anxiety/depression/BPD/whatever else you wanna throw in there. She contributes nothing to society, and despite being "unable" to work, can go galavanting and shopping almost every day, after she wakes up in the afternoon from sleeping all day, of course. I also pay for her car. The loan is in my name for that as well.

I need out. All I do is pick up after her animals and her half-retarded kid. I asked my son if I moved out would he move with me, and he said "I dunno". This is because, despite her doing absolutely nothing in the realm of parenting, she will manipulate him into going with her so I have to pay child support. This is a woman who tried to get our kid on medication so that she would get more disability benefits.

Please help me. Should I just find a cheap bachelor pad and move out without telling her and keep paying rent at the house for the next few months until the lease is up? Just let my kid know he can move in with me any time and hope he makes the right decision? I have already lost most of my mind being in this mess I have created for myself. I just need a solid exit plan that won't get me fucked over legally.
