My friend and I were discussing this topic last night and I would like your take on it. So a lot of guys get married thinking that it would result in constant access to unlimited sexuality. As we all know, that is never really the case.
Now what follows is just a thought experiment. I'm in NO WAY condoning rape.
So let's imagine for a second that laws of marriage meant that between the two of you, there was no such thing as rape. No statutory rape or anything. How would that affect the current marriage dynamics and situation. If you are married, a wife or husband can force themselves on the spouse and neither can cry rape. Say a husband gets home from work at 2am, he's feeling like having some fun time. His wife is sleeping and he just wakes her up and they start the business, she can't say no.
Do you think this would increase our decrease marriage rates? And would it benefit or harm one side more than the current marriage laws do?
