I have been having depression for over half a year now. I have nothing now. Started a major I hate (like the whole academic background in general) because my mom made me, I am totally alone, nobody talks to me first, nobody wanted to hang out with me since like a month. I don't have any mission. Hell, I don't even know what my mission could be becuase I've lost any real interest in anything. I can't even pick up a book because I break down after having read 10 pages. Wanted to buy an electric guitar but instantly my head ate me from the inside telling me that I will give up after playing for a week so why bother, it will be just wasted money. I've cut myself and have some scars on my arm. Ever since I remember I was excelling at school, top grades in primary, secondary, high school. Now during the first term of my studies I'm one of the best students too. But when I look that I have nothing whereas people my age are starting their jobs, have girlfriends, fiancees etc (not wanting commitment, but I'd like to fuck from time to time like a normal guy, having a dry spell right now) pisses me off and makes me even more depressed. My parents want me to be some CEO or other corporate rat whereas I just want a $5k car, a hectare of land and a fucking tent or a yurt to live off grid. I don't know what to do because I have no skills now since I chose high school instead of some trade school. Basically, I'm fucked. I feel broken and like a waste of air now. I didn't act on my suicidal thoughts yet but every day I feel them more and more. I don't think my life is worth living now and if that didn't hurt I know I'd actually have taken my life a long time ago. All I have done for the last 2 months was crying all night and sleeping 4-6 hours daily. I have literally nobody to share it with. My parents would start shouting at me for even ackowledging that I have such problems. I am aware that people are having real hardships in their lives which makes me feel like a total ungrateful bitch even more.

Wrote it to let my thoughts out and would also be grateful for any third-person insight. Thank you.
