It's all relative. Just be careful about the mindset that being the same thing for 30 years is good enough just because you're getting raises. Remember we never stop competing and what looks good on a 25 year old looks like a tired old uniform on a 50 year old donut chaser. If law enforcement suits you, use it to improve yourself, your command presence, confrontation skills etc. but be looking/considering upwards and outwards from day one out of the academy. Federal agencies are an natural step beyond and/or you can develop a business based on your training and contacts, i.e. say you get into SWAT and then become an instructor within the force, and then as a contractor. The point is to look for wealth independence as soon as possible. I'm learning this late myself... paychecks are nice but you still owe your job that 40 hours every week (at least). Making good money while owning your own schedule and reporting only to yourself can be an excellent contributor to a strong frame.

On a similar note- I've heard a fair amount of "govt employees are cucks" in TRP but it's far from absolute. Freedom is tremendous for a RP mindset, but the fact is, the vast vast majority of humans serve somebody else. If the choose is between a six figure job and a lemonade stand, it's a no brainer.

You know how many girls I see on hinge who say they want to defund the police. Or that they tell me in person they hate all police officers and marines at Pendleton. Or that they think pigs should be shot.
