First I just want to qualify, that my intention is not to be rude or be some kind of troll when asking this question. My intention is just to understand, hear your opinions, and know what the consensus is among the community about this topic. So it seems that most in this subreddit understand that from society's perspective having certain genes, i.e. being short, balding at a young age, and having a recessed chin, is a negative trait for most people to have, especially men. There are even posts on here where people the discuss the science of things like the halo/horn effect and how much attractiveness (societal good genes) can affect a person's livelihood. So my question to these people who have bad genes and don't want to adopt kids or go to a sperm bank, what is your reasoning behind it? With most studies showing people with bad genes (society considering them ugly) having greater disparity when comes to negative treatment, why put a child through so much struggle? I understand genes are complicated, but it seems the chance of a child not inheriting your genes and instead inheriting them completely from your spouse is pretty low. Also we want our children, to go through society with the least amount of struggle , correct? So wouldn't it be better to have children through artificial insemination from a sperm bank and/or traditional surrogacy instead? I hope I didn't offend anybody, with this question, and if I did I apologize.

P.S. So no assumptions are made about bad intent, I don't think anybody should and/or shouldn't be forced/recommended to have children. I also want to qualify that I myself wont be having children because I have what society would consider bad genes( balding at 16 with nw3, low iq, 5'10", and have a small wiener). Also because kids are kind of annoying and expensive. My end goal here is just to gain more knowledge on this subject, know the different paths other than my own people take when considering reproduction.
