What part of women's behavior nowadays indicates that they value tradition? They only want marriage because it gives them the rights to half your assets/ investments. Once they tie the knot they don't have to put as much effort into the relationship (such as only having sex once a month). They don't have worry about how you feel about their attitude towards you. "What are you going to do? Leave? Oh that's alright, I'll get over it. Give me half of your retirement plan now". She'll get your retirement money because she spent her twenties "finding herself" and getting a worthless liberal arts degree instead of building a financial base to take advantage of compound interest.

As men, much of our value is tied up into how much we can provide. If she has the ability to instantly strip you of half of your wealth, what does she need you for? It's a much better strategy to not get married to ensure that you still have authority over your family. Make sure that it would be a net loss to get rid of you. I guess that's a philosophy that carries over to your career as well.
