Hi ladies, thought I’d share my gift wrapping ideas for Christmas designed to reduce waste. I’ve got a few: painting brown paper using white paint and stencils, simple line designs, or large brushstrokes using pastel colours and tying with twine and native flowers; wrapping gifts in nice/ colourful tea towels and tying them up with twine - the receiver gets a tea towel out of it too; wrapping gifts in nice printed scarfs and tying with twine or a nice knot (also a keepsake for the receiver); collecting foreign newspapers and using these as gift wrap (I picked up a Japanese one from a grocery store which will look beautiful used as wrap with some simple red ribbon).
