Hey brothers, I have a complex life question for the older, more experienced RP guys. Not a sexual strategy question at all..

I was married for 6 years and had a daughter with this woman. Our daughter is now 8.

We both cheated, I dug deep into TRP, made some serious changes and life has only been getting better the last couple years. Except with our custody situation.

We were cool and great coparents the first year. She was cool with us hanging out as parents/friends with our daughter and we worked everything out amicably with custody and divorce. We have 50/50. No child support or alimony.

Anytime she’s started dating someone, she’s gone gone cold and made scheduling certain things difficult.

This newest boyfriend she’s been seeing I think around 7 months. He seems chill, and my daughter has great things to say about him. She got pregnant pretty quick and they bought a house together. As fast as this went it seems he’s simping to her every word.

But she’s been pretty insistent about us not meeting yet because it’s too “awkward” for her. Pretty sure she just doesn’t want me accidentally saying something to him about something she’s trying to hide, which I have no intention of doing.

This man now lives with my daughter in their new house, and even alone with her when my ex works graveyard.

I want to reach out and introduce myself on my own, also because I have no idea what is being said about me over there in front of my daughter. For all I know this guy thinks I’m a complete psychopath or something. But I know that is an emotional response on my part.

I just want to clear the air with him and make sure we are on the same page.

I have a way of reaching out to him if I decide to.

I know he has a good job (which requires background checks up the ass), so I’m not too concerned about safety or criminal behavior with my daughter around. But I suppose anything can happen this day in age.

What should I do gents?
