This is a classic line by girls. In all honesty guys get nervous if they are not in a relationship mentality, but the reality is you DONT KNOW THIS GIRL. Why is that important? You need to go on some dates with her and even see if you two would connect. So this isn't a lie you are telling her. Who is she to think you guys will "just work out right on the spot" like that. You could legitimately hang out and bang a few times with her and then realize it is not what you wanted. How is that any different from just sleeping with her and then leaving?
