I had to go back to the drawing board recently. Picked 3 attainable goals that would require new levels of focus and discipline on my part.

Outside of that focus I realized life's path could be completely altered by relatively simple, common, every-day events.

- hitting submit on job posing with a higher salary.

- walking in the front door of an MMA/BJJ gym and signing up for classes.

- Volunteering or donating some of your time for a better cause that opens up networking or charity events.

Feels like my life moves forward in bigger leaps when I'm putting myself out there rather than locked in a room with whiteboard trying to plot the next strategic move.

How many of you have experiences where it was less about grinding it out on monk mode, straining for new opportunities vs just putting yourself out there & in a situations where you might meet someone interesting?
