How do you overcome LMR?

Couple weeks ago I had this little ginger who found herself in my bedroom when i know she wasn't planning on going home with a man that night. We're on my bed and i'm doing my patented "unbutton her jeans with my teeth" maneuver when her LMR kicked in.

I didn't resist or try and ignore it, I simply stopped, put my clothes on, and offered to walk her to her car. She quickly changed her mind.

Last time it happened was a chick from work. While watching a movie we start making out and I go to put my hand in her pants. She pulls my hand back and says "not in the first night, I'm not a slut you know." I said " I know, that's what I like about you." And put my hand back in her pants. Just like that the deal was closed.

You can usually get past this kind of thing by agreeing with them and doing it anyways.

If she's sleeping over, just go to sleep and try again in the morning.

In my experience, sleeping in the same bed seems to lower their LMR substantially when I encountered it.

I don't seem to get it as much these days though.

The best way from what i can gather is to simply not trigger the ASD in the first place. The level of game required to do this will vary. Once you're encountering heavy LMR you've probably already lost this one, best bet is to walk away "like a gentleman" if you push on you only further enforce her defences. If you walk away a reasonable percentage of the time you'll get the bang just not necessarily there and then.

Other more experienced gamers probably have more advanced strategies, but thats the best way i know.

The Mystery Method deals with LMR pretty well. Although I think Mystery is a pretty slimy PUA, he does have his psychology right. You need to affirm her resistance, back off change the subject in the right way. Watch tv, listen to music, talk about the weather. Basically let her know you're cool and confident enough to deal with this. Let her know you still think she's a totally cool person too. No whining or begging. Just being a hands off friend until her hormones settle back in, then you can usually pick up where you left off.

My experience? You usually don't. Drop her like she's garbage and move on.
