Start thinking about running your own business, even if its a hot dog stand.

Jobs are a form of relationship based on a dependency.

Better to work harder and make less and not have the social garbage dumped on you.

In your own business, the relationship is with the clients, with a more mutual benefit.

And as the economist Rücker pointed out: the goal of a business is clients, not money.

ie if you acquire the clients and run the business competantly the money will follow.

Also, with clients, all you have to do, is be a dencent human, and give them a better deal.

Make your clients your friends, give them 25% off suggested retail, watch what happens...

Not talking out my aft end, watched this work as a kid standing behind a counter in a small family business that did fine, that was a start up, where people said it wouldn't work.

Be interested in your client's lives, treat them with respect and as your neighbors.

As the Koran points out; if you do business with them, they are your brothers.

Think of business in terms of a family. That every client is part of your businesses family, and you are happy to see them and try to help them.

Corporatism is a form of slavery. That relies on price gouging people to create excess profits, so those at the top really dont work.

And often supports an investor class as well.

Take it back to the fundamentals. Be a real human again.

Dude don’t ask questions and just do the work you know how to do. If you have nothing then wait until you’re given something.

Just look for another job.

If it doesn't work right now try to accumulate enough new skills and hone your existing ones that you'll get more valued every day. Get that career capital working for you until you can switch to a better job.

Sadly, you will encounter this a few times in your life. I went into the nonprofit sector wanting to make a change in the world and it's the same office culture crap: got screwed over women. So now re-training into the trades (boat mechanic) as for the trades in general, women are few and far between, and the ones that are around here have to buck up, because crocidle teers are shutdown real quick.
