I don't think there is an issue with monogamy. No one I know has a problem with it. The issue here is making sure your SMV is high enough that you have options. Keeps people on their toes. Let's her know she is replaceable. Always improving themselves for the better and to continue their life mission.

Now a days love is gone. Loyalty is hard to find. Love was dead with the birth of the cell phone. One person isn't giving you attention? Call another. Send a snapchat message. Social Media. Post a selfie and get validation from other women and thirsty men.

Biologically wired for monogamy? I don't think so. Socially we did for survival. Reading sex at dawn is a good book. There are many posts about it.

For every women, there is always back up guys in their phone to give attention, for dates, etc. All we do here is even out the playing field, or guide it in our favor as early as possible.

Almost every study on the subject confirms that a stable, monogamous relationship is critical for raising well rounded children. Marriage success is also highly correlated to low n-counts. Monogamy has logical merits if that's something you desire.

I want a wife and children someday. That's my personal preference and I use TRP to achieve those ends.

That's NORMAL because priorities change. The biological urge to fuck becomes a biological urge to take care of the result. If you ignore that and think you can keep on fucking like offspring is imminent forever, YOU WILL BE UNHAPPY, and it's not monogamy's fault.

BlackDragon openly says that long-term monogamy (no cheating at all, no 'breaks') where both couples are entirely happy many years after the 3 year mark is impossible, otherwise you end up miserable.

He's wrong. Oh, it's true that a relationship won't stay in the honeymoon phase forever. It won't continue to run under its own steam; you'll have to do some work. But it's worth it, IMO, and yes, you can be happy. Very happy.
