I'm a pretty chill guy once people get to know me and very funny in a sarcastic and dry humor way. Only problem is that I'm introverted. People always ask me if I don't like them or why I'm so cold, but I don't mean to be this way. I have a very difficult time finding new friends because of this.

So now I'm a junior in college and never really lacked friends until now. In my past it seems like somehow i got lucky and ended up with a very large clique of popular kids in high school that just fell in my lap.

Once i got to college this all changed. I started off with several friends because as a freshman everyone is starting fresh and I wasn't as emotionally closed off to new people, and i was more genuine and outgoing.

I'm not sure exactly what happened to me that made me change so much, i have terrible trust issues and developed social anxiety out of nowhere.

So now i only have 4 good friends, 2 back home and 2 at college. Me and one of the friends at college are growing apart. Recently he's been a really shitty person to me and it's to the point where I'm about to just forget him entirely. He's an asshole and only chills with me when it's convenient for him or as a plan b. Doesn't really invite me to much either. But I'm forced to hang on because he has so many resources that i can use. I know this isn't healthy and for my sake I should break it off. We used to be best friends freshman year, i just hate to do this.

So this leaves me with 1 good friend at college. He's probably the most sarcastic asshole at the school but deep down he's a great person and treats me with respect. Only problem is he's a year older than me and about to graduate. He plans on moving states away to pursue his career. So fuck me

I just joined a club because I figured I should make some friends but i realized that I'm not good at it because I've never had to make new friends before as it's always just fallen in my lap. I can't get their number and invite them to shit because they'd think I'm gay and trying to hit on them.

Making friends is always easier when you already have friends, but how is it possible to start from scratch? I don't know what to do anymore and I'm starting to get depressed.

I've been lifting 5 days a week for the past 10 months and it's really taught me discipline. I'm very attractive and a nice person but I suck at making friends.
