I've actually had this discussion with friends. If you can rock it wear it. Some dudes are fucking fly and can wear anything and it would look good. For example, a man with a nose piercing now looks like a fag but when Tupac wore it he didn't because he was a straight thug. So yeah it definitely contributes to the look but your personality and how you carry yourself is what really matters

I don't need piercings and don't like them. I have seen no difference in response to girls I entertain. That said, to each his own. Some friends have them and like the unisex look. I ask them if that is TRP, and they have no answer for me. But I don't judge them on it. It's personal preference.

I have two Helix piercings in my left ear, and wear two tight hoop earrings in them, both are black. I don't care what people think of it, it's how I wana decorate my body. Looks pretty tribal imo.

Used to have an eyebrow piercing but unfortunately had to remove it for rugby.

Dave Navarro was banging a prime Carmen Electra. Tommy Lee banged his share of models and actresses. Both those guys rocked piercings. It definitely can be attractive. But it all depends on your overall look. Piercings seem to connote a more rebellious or "alternative lifestyle" kind of image. It all depends on what demographic you are trying to pursue.

They might be a big hit at a Buckcherry concert but they probably wouldn't be so popular in a Manhattan bar full of investment bankers.

Very. It makes the hunt so much easier. Don't let them scare you. They're worth it. I had two, but I had to remove them for reasons awhile back. I plan on having them redone soon.

Voting on yes. I'm hesitant to say it, b/c if everyone does it, it will cancel out the standout factor. Women do usually get that wide-eyed "wow" look when they see/feel I have nipple rings. I'm one of those looks like a straight laced conservative with my shirt on. My ears are pierced(gauged a little actually) but you can't really tell without jewelry. My boss didn't even know for a year, until he was basically hugging me at a Christmas dinner.

Edit: Yes, I wonder if there's not a little "sugar in boss's tank," but he's old and married, so I'm not worried about having to do any extra favors:D

Weighing in here, yes. I used to have a lip ring and have had numerous piercings over the years and chicks dig it. I walked into a party one time and multiple women would comment on how they love lip rings which easily transitioned things. I had women straight up out of my league coming up to me to talk about it and they were clearly interested. Do it already.
