So I (19 years old) moved across the country and to live with my parents a year ago so I could finish up school online and recover from a serious sports injury that crippled me for a year (held on to my athletic build, somehow). I have been in full monk mode, and as graduation nears Im realizing I havent spoken to anyone outside of my family for the past year. Outside of reddit, and the occasional chick from tinder I use to break the monotony.

I can still interact with people, but it just feels fucking awkward and uncomfortable, like Im no longer used to it. I figure I just need some more practice, but I have no idea where to meet people. Im not in high school anymore. I have no connections, sports are still a no-go, and I barely leave the house.

My goal is to eventually do be able to dance through a conversation like my old buddy (standup comedian, fucking hilarious guy). But I feel too awkward to even keep a conversation going with my neighbor. Any advice?
