How do you maintain attraction without losing it by over-texting until she is back so I can take her out? I can tell she is a talker because she tried to keep convos going the first day she got my number and I just referred to "When I see her, Ill tell her this" etc. and I ended up having to end convo by not really replying and doing a "tapback" like.

Context is I know this girl from my program but we haven't talked before. Had her on social media. Was interested in something she posted so dmd her about it. one convo led to another and I asked her out on a date, and gave her my #. She followed up by taking my number and texting me, saying it'd be nice but will be back in town end of the month. Then she tried to keep convo going.

Should I do anything at all until she comes back? Like maintain low level of communication (send a meme or ask her about something) or do I just check in again when she's back (assuming she doesn't take that step to tell me shes back)?
