It’ll all blow over and people won’t bow down to this. Cis people won’t stop living their lives as they want to or acknowledging gender , but this group of people may continue to talk about it in gender studies class or the internet or whatever and that’s fine.

It goes along the idea that the biological sexes (=cisgender) do not exist, but that sexual identity and preferences are merely something that is of natural origin but rather and dominantly social constructs.

It also follows the idea that people are happy if they can follow whatever idea they have about themselves. So no social pressure (=conditioning) towards any kind of norms related to the biological sex, meaning everybody can follow the rules they set for themselves, be whatever they want to be and be happy.

The problem with that is that reality does not bend to fantasies and therefore people who live in wonderland and expect reality to match their fantasies will hit their heads hard on the walls that they will encounter because they are not able to adapt their actions to achieve what also is biologically hardwired into us (=survival, family, spreading genes, etc.).

So the idea that we with respect to our gender could be and do whatever we want is highly destructive, because it sets people up for failure in terms of relationship and life satisfaction, but also psychological health.

Straight cis people are NOT automatically happy with everything cause that's not how life works and if you were to change something like that they would be happy(coming from a non-straight cis guy)

Also getting rid of the concept of gender would still hurt trans people to because they are transgender not no gender meaning getting rid of that concept dies the same to them as it does cis people no
