There's a psychological theory we touched on in psych 101, that states that one of the ways attraction is made is through proximity.

I always wondered this when you see relationships in "end-of-the-world" type scenarios like TWD.

Proximity is a huge part of attraction, for males more than females.

Scarcity is also huge, for females more than males. (Male scarcity shocks women because of a lack of support system, female scarcity is because males don't set boundaries or don't practice abundance usually)

I went to an all guys high school and was surprised how attracted I was to the fairly unattractive female teachers after being around dudes all day. I'd say yes.
