Im sure there are some that are worse than others, but honestly all of them infuriate me.

Im so tired of society giving huge platforms to sexists, whose words can really damage men and brainwash girls into believing feminist BS. Anyone with a sane opinion is immediately 'cancelled', its horrible.

Not really pissing me off but it's fucking stupid.

Actresses who think not wearing a corset is empowering. Congrats, you just made the movie not historically acurate because of a myth made up by men who wanted to deprive women of fashion - the only way they could express themselves at the time.

Back in the day corsets were basically bras. They were made to support the breats. Many women weren't even squeezing them tightly. They don't restrict your movements at all, you can do whatever you want while wearing it. Men also wore it but that's another story.

Fashion at the time was the only way women could express themselves which men hated so they made up myths like "corsets are unhealthy" to stop women from wearing them.

The missconception completly shifted the way corsets are viewed, that's why nowdays they are made with the intention of making the waist slimmer, which feeds that myth and make it seem true.

Actresses do experience the side effects of wearing the corsets because of their low quality and lack of preparation. But because of their lack of knowledge in fashion history they view it as something our female ancesters were going through every day. They speak out about it without properly educating themselves on the topic and spread missinformation..

They think they fight against the patriarchy while spreading it.. (Though I think patriarchy is long gone).

Some that immediately come to mind are “comedians” like Michelle Wolf and Sarah Silverman.

And politicians like Obama (and this is a very unpresidential thing to say). By the way, don’t think that this type of behavior is limited to Democrats. Trump even said on at least one occasion that “women are better” (the example coming to mind being during the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett, who herself even said that women do everything better than men).
