I'll try to keep this brief. I just turned 30 a couple months ago. Although its hard to stay disciplined, I manage to eat pretty well at least 6 days a week, weight train 4-5 days a week, and make about around 120k a year (real estate agent). I also have been married for 3 years to a girl who makes 130k a year in Pharma., We have a mix of friends from a lot of different backgrounds.

It seems like as time goes on there are essentially two groups of people I hang out with- On one hand, there are the guys who are working on staying healthy, traveling, doing good in their careers, buying houses etc. and on the other, the guys who are still living with their parents, working menial jobs or gigs and doing drugs and drinking all the time.

My question is about the latter group- I like some of the guys who are stuck in adultlescence, but am finding that as we keep getting older I respect them less and less. Having no ambition, and spending all your time getting drunk and chasing girls while living with your parents at 30+ is, in my mind, fucking pathetic. I don't know if its right or wrong for me to think this way but its where i'm at. I just feel like there has to be mroe to life at some point.

Whats the red pill perspective on this? Do you cut the bad branches off and hang out with the peo-ple who are making something of themselves, or try to help them out? Or neither, just kind of keep them at arms length?
