Well we finally got the daughter to agree to our cheaper quote, but there is a catch. She now demands that the fence is built before the auction of the house...this Saturday! The fencer told her no, he's booked for 3 weeks, she then came back to us and demanded we pay the whole cost upfront so it gets done faster and she will reimburse us.

Hahahaha fuck no. Mum tipped off the fencer, who is now asking that her half be paid in full before he breaks ground. Imagine that the house sells this Saturday, she would have pissed off and not paid us her half. The daughter is also angry that we refuse to pay half the cost to clean up her fathers backyard and that the fencer is refusing to cut our concrete.

I somehow think that this woman is stalling for time and will only put up the fence if the house does not sell this weekend. She has also refused to fix the back fence which has damaged our side, I think we will have to deal with the new owners somehow, which may not be ideal.
