You need to do just act indifferent about it. Always act like you're fucking a fatty, like you're stooping down and could care less whether you do or not. I wouldn't pay too much attention to it. It's basically a good sign, she wants to keep her options open without upsetting you. From a girl's point of view, this makes sense.

The trick is to be neither rapey nor beta in your response.

For me, I'd flip the script ... "I don't want to disappoint you if I don't find you attractive, think your ego can take it if we just cuddle? I won't tease you too badly. Probably."

Other options include: "That's cool, we've both got options" (nice way of saying "I'll fuck someone else if not" without annoying her)

Just play a straight bat. I had a girl say this to me earlier this week. I know she was down. She knew she was down. First time we'd met.
