So I just wanted to say that I'm new to the MGTOW subreddit. I heard about it through my online friend is a member. We usually talk about issues men face. I came here for my first post seeking advice. About a year ago, I was extremely blue pilled, I was a simp, and I literally bowed down to women. I also let them run over me and turned red flags into green ones and had no self respect. Through countless fails at relationships, something finally clicked in my head. Just to put it in perspective, I'm 18, turning 19 in a couple of months. I've had my fair share of ass, not to be conceded or anything but I've been around the block. But a year ago, I met this girl. She was supposed to be a one night stand, but we bonded. At first I was talking to dozens of other girls. We bonded a lot and the topic came about, if we were going to be friends with benefits with more. I assured her I didn't mind, during this stage I had my feelings in check. She wanted a relationship with me so I said fuck it. Everything went down hill after this. Her parents were crazy, and rough, did drugs, despite this and me coming from a middle class white suburban family I didn't mind it and ignored it because I was in love. I bonded with her crazy dad, met her entire family. I then started staying weeks at her house and grew in LOVE. I thought this was it, I had found my forever match. She started to pull away from me. My bestfriend who is a bum, 1.5 gpa, does acid, shrooms, and etc. Had talked to her and made me weary. I told her to stop talking to him and she did, but then she went and talked to him behind my back. I got mad and made her block him. He then had her bestfriend call her and ask her why she blocked him while I was at her house. To keep this from being more lengthy than it already is, a month or two later she then told me she didn't want a relationship. Broke up with me, then he removed me off social media. My "bestfriend's" ex called me and asked me if this was a picture of my girlfriend on his story. Sure enough it was. Till this day he has had numerous girlfriends, and she's still with him. This is what pushed me over. Just curious if anyone has had a similar experience. I apologize for the length of this post. Thank you, I appreciate any advice or any experiences similar to this shared.
