This study is disingenuous at best. It's correlating unrelated causes and effects. The effect, men getting less sex, has little to nothing to do with education and marriage rates. If anything, men get less sex when they're married, which is counter intuitive on the surface but makes more sense when a granular examination takes place.

Men are getting less sex because, thanks to online dating and social media, the sexual marketplace has been globalized. Along with many other negative effects, women now have sexual access to men all around the world, and no longer need to 'settle' for nice guy Bob next door.

The delay in marriage shouldn’t make any impact on sexlessness as only a very minority of people save themselves for marriage.

The real reason it goes up is that the more intelligent you are, the less you are going to meet women’s standards outside of being a beta bux.

To be a alpha (in women’s view), you have to be impulsive, violent, stupid, arrogant, etc. traits intelligent people usually lack.

I was noticing this. I see guys who literally tell you they have trouble reading and those guys are married or with children. I wanted a marriage and I was left for “later” for twenty plus years. I also studied and dedicated myself to reading.

Some of the points the article makes are true. But it does not explain why exactly celibacy is less prevalent in females. Is it because sex does not cost them anything?

The thing is, the article claims that the most common way men have regular sex is through marriage. Less marriage = More sexlessness for men. But why doesn't that apply for women to the same extent? That is not answered. Hmm...

The article is suggesting that, to fix the issue of sexlessness among men, more of men need to get married.

But, it conveniently ignores the fact that women don't need marriage as much to have regular sex (which the stats provided have proven).

I didn't read it, but I'll bet that it also does not explain why STDs cluster with a larger group of women and a smaller group of men, since things are not due to the top 20%.

Edward Dutton is writing a book which should be out next year. His conclusion is there are two main demographics still breeding. First are low IQ people who can't use contraception properly or just don't care due to low consciousness. Second are religious conservatives which would partly explain the delay in marriage because such people are prone to start sexual life later. The rest is simply hypergamy at work.
