More than anything, I see that Revolution means to create, to keep creating even in the midst of being held back, being imprisoned. If you can't speak it, write it; if you can't write it, sing it; if you can't sing it, whisper it; if you can't whisper it, dream it, keep dreaming it, until one fine day...

One creates not to maintain the status quo, but to truly see beyond this time and this world, and then to unleash fresh vision. "...to broaden the horizons of knowledge and of human engagement."

Communism was brought down by interrupting the money supply, stopping the supply chain[...] This was done by people longing to be free. [...]

But, in order to create Revolution, what change agents did not do was as important as what they did do: They did not stand by quietly, nor sit still. They were thoughtful, gathered in large groups and small groups, did not remain local only, went global for their time, allied together; moved forward; were prepared to win some, lose some; understood solidarity as being united in one principal and to hold fast to that in true Love, and to let all other items of agreement or disagreement to fall away; to ever move forward.

This quote is from Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés' "Untie the Strong Woman." Though it's about a religious mural being covered over, I found it really resonated with me and our movement here. Whenever people call us a violent or hate-filled subreddit, I'm baffled. Many of us have been hurt and abused by men, and rightfully hold bitterness about that. But overall, our movement is one of love... of lifting up women everywhere, and making the world a better place for the future.

Anyways just thought I'd share. This book and her "Woman who Run with Wolves" are both wonderful reads (even if you're not religious) from a woman who is a poet, storyteller, and Jungian psychoanalyst.
