An "I don't feel loved" break up is the same as a "Fuck you break up". The process is all the same for us men. Get over it, move on to the next.

Consider it one hefty lesson. Also, you are young. I am still 18 but you haven't even reached what most people consider their prime years (27-35).

Know I'm a bit late here, but just know you're not alone. I went through this a few months ago. Ex literally went from telling me she wanted to spend the rest of her life with me, to breaking up with me in 4 days. 4 days. That's it.

Fast forward 6 months and she's apparently the happiest she's ever been with one of her friends, i.e. "the guy she told you not to worry about" (and I honestly didn't worry about him too much, because he seemed head over heels in love with his gf of 4 years and was— key word being was— a friend of mine as well). I know she didn't cheat on me, but I'm convinced that she decided she was into this other dude before we broke up— even though she denied it last time we had a serious talk two months ago. It's a really tough one to swallow. You think you find a unicorn, but nope. AWALT.

It sucks, man. It still has me a bit fucked up sometimes. I went to therapy for a few weeks because I was destroyed inside. Luckily I found my way back to TRP, and it's good that you're here. Just don't do what I did. While yeah, I started lifting a lot after the breakup, most of my behaviors were bad: I drank excessively, blew money on unnecessary shit going out every night, essentially trying to show her I didn't need her to have a good time. Make sure you focus your energies on constructive things; lift, eat right, find something your passionate about. For me, it's writing. I wrote a lot about this experience, as it was therapeutic. Use this time to get yourself back on track— most importantly, do this for YOU, not for her. Don't fall into some downward spiral, where she looks justified for dumping you. Become the best you you can be. And if/when she comes back, tell her to fuck off.

If you wanted to fuck with her, you could text "What's his name?" to her, and watch her hamster through some "I'm not a cheater!" BS, but don't bother arguing with her about it. Just let the hamster wear itself out.
