I’ve come across a handful of smooth motherfuckers that know exactly what you wanna hear and how to pry into the catacombs of your subconscious. But it’s all a rehearsed pattern of behavior cultivated from years of trial n error - they are incapable of internalizing and throughly adjusting to the person in front of them. As ingenious as their linguistic artistry is and sheer girth of their willingness to go the distance, their cognition centers around what they are about to say and can never truly captivate their listener’s attention. You need to dedicate the entirety of your attention to their words, body language, and subconscious inflections of their expression; ironically, everything revolves around your subject as a master manipulator. Forget any preconceived notion or personal desire you think will benefit by being uttered into existence; you and your egocentric perception of the universe are irrelevant in conversation. You are another hairless primate in the zoo, there’s nothing brewin in your noggin that’s any more real than Harambe’s favorite chess opening. It’s all Fugazi. Speaking of chess, what makes a Grandmaster so incredibly dominant when modern theory can only take you so far? It is their impenetrable fixation on the opponent’s moves in the mid to late game and ability to adjust that leads to their success; not the openings themselves that they’ve executed thousands of times. Continually internalizing and poetically dancing with the information presented to you is everything in a conversation; envision their vast journey from the embryo to that exact moment in time, internalize every nuance in their articulation, and paint the most vivid picture of their microcosm that you can every inch of the way through the interaction. Never stop listening.

Silence

Just as a painting is defined by what is put on the canvas, the lack of paint is equally as important - though often neglected when allocating meaning to a piece of art. A narcissist’s greatest weakness is their inability to shut their fucking mouth; the perpetual need to control the conversation and habitually interject one’s bias is the most primitive form of insecurity one can posses. Pure weakness. Silence is incredibly daunting to most, the lack of fucks towards obsessively vibrating your larynx and a willingness to relish in sonic peace is a trait that will perplex essentially everyone. The words that you render into existence are meaningless without the conviction to not utter single one if unwarranted. Silence breeds suspense and curiosity with exponentially more grace than anything that can be said and will never cease to spawn curiosity with your subject. Don’t go full autist and thousand yard stare your broad while she asks how your day was; simply have no fear (actually better yet, embrace) language and the lack of it with equal admiration.

Duality

The duality of man... I fucking hate that euphemism; but hey, it exists for a reason and I need that D (nice) to make this acronym LSD. Regardless of how charming you are, nobody will fear or become mystified by your presence with constant emission of this frequency. If you do not occasionally express the ruthless nature of our species, how is your virtue supposed to mean jack diddley? Women do not want an asshole, despite what some of you inbred newts believe; they want an asshole with a heart of gold. The assholery of our species is unavoidable, read a history book, and can only be channeled; not eradicated. The more honest you are with the chasm of savagery and love within, the more others will subconsciously gravitate and seek your company because it such a rare occurrence in our fabricated interpersonal constructs. Write her some heartfelt poetry in the morning and choke her a little too hard at night, never dedicate yourself to one facet of the human condition because she will see through the facade quicker than my grandpa’s deuces in the Korean War trenches. Polarity is what makes genius music obliterate the soul and cinematic masterpieces have you completely suspending your disbelief; harmonic chaos straight from the bowels of your primal core will catalyze an attraction that no woman or man can deny.

Clarification: I’m not encouraging you to be a piece of shit, manipulation is simply a means to an end that could very well be rooted in empathy and is fundamentally ammoral.
