I call bs. Modern cars don't flood. And "she stopped to help" meaning the car was stopped. But the poor stranded motorist couldn't get the car to "accelerate ". You don't accelerate the car when stopped: you start it.

A mechanic friend of mine defines "modern cars" as anything built in the mid-2000s up through today. He says it's basically impossible for a modern car's engine to flood thx to a wide variety of checks and balances... none of which I understand well enough to articulate here.

Also, was the motorist stranded/inert/unable to move? Or was he having problems accelerating? Tweet says both. But logically it can only be one or the other. If the car was having problems accelerating, how would the engine become flooded? How would a carbeque happen?

I find it funny that the group of people who regularly fall for the muffler bearing and spark plug fluid pranks are trying to larp as mechanics. You're not fooling anyone, princess.

This subreddit keeps coming up on my feed and I have checked the posts trying to make sense of what it’s about. I get not loving like, man hating granola lesbians but I can’t help but notice the stuff getting posted is like trash Instagram accounts that have no basis in reality. Do y’all just hate women? Or hate non hetero normative stuff? I like really want to understand.

If I can be honest it just kind of seems like a subreddit for people that can’t get laid and hate women because of it.

Edit: and I have been lurking for awhile now. This is not a one day observation
