So out of the blue, my friend asked me who knew about the breakup (for reference, I broke up with my ex LVM back in September after he ghosted me for over a week) when I told her that I only told a select few (only my small circle of friends), I then asked her why she would ask me that. She then continued to say that one of the mutual people that me and my ex knew question if we broke up. This mutual person then said “I can tell because he doesn’t follow me on Instagram anymore”. When my friend told me this, I don’t know why, but it struck a nerve. Number one, the fact that she asked who knew about the breakup and number two, the fact that this mutual person is mad fucking nosy.

I got triggered, and now I’m crying. It’s bringing back a flood of emotions that I don’t want in my body and now I regret my decision to breakup with him. Do people expect a breakup to be publicized on social media? Because that’s not the type of person I am. And neither is my ex. At this rate, I wouldn’t be surprised if this mutual person texted my ex and shit would cause a huge problem that I don’t want to be involved in.
