Where to seek a partner?

I'm so torn between OLD and trying to meet guys in real life. On one hand, OLD is filled with creeps, but on the other hand, it's slightly easier to detect the creeps online than in real life? A lot of times, a guy will wave his red flags loud and proud in his profile. These flags might take longer to spot if you meet a guy at store or coffee shop or gym. Also, some men who are fearless about approaching women in public are scary.

I’m wondering this too. I also don’t like OLD. I would say events, join a co-ed club. Put yourself in situations where your ideal person would hang out. Example: library, volunteering at a nonprofit, church. Of course these aren’t super great right now with covid.

i also cant imagine myself using dating apps. and i kinda wouldnt want to get with someone who swiped on women like that, i honestly find it objectifying and weird. not that it;s a deal breaker, but ideally i'll end up with someone who also finds it so ... grossly capitalist and unnatural

i would recommend just focusing on your friendships and hobbies, i feel like meeting someone through your social circles is the best way to find someone with good intentions and who will probably already have some things in common w you
