So last night I invited an intern over at my place, we ended up cuddling on my couch watching Netflix. I had my arms wrapped around her, her head was on my chest and we would be playing with each other's hands and I would rub my hands on her waist and the side of her hips. 20 minutes after we started cuddling, I started thinking about kissing her, as I read before, if you start thinking about kissing her, you should have already done so. So I went for it, then she backed off and said. " I don't want you to have the wrong idea, I'm not like that, I have a boyfriend (she does), and I am happy with him and you have a gf. Arent you happy with her?" I shrugged, keeping calm and said "Well sorry to make you uncomfortable, I find you attractive and I was just expressing how feel I feel and me and my gf are good."

Then she says, "I think I should go, I don't want you getting the wrong idea."

I said, "if you feel that way cool, sorry you feel uncomfortable". We hug and off she goes. I felt really, excited because after 6 years of being in an LTR (semi-long distance, gf lives an hour a way) I made it that far and I wasn't afraid to go for it when I felt it. But of course, this was my first rejection in a long time so I had periods when I felt down. 2 hours later I sent her a text saying, "Sorry I made you feel uncomfortable. I enjoyed my time with you and I was hoping we can keep this just between us, but at the same time I understand your discomfort. Have a good night."

She responds, " yeah definitely. you too."

So some backstory, I first met her 8 months ago when she started working at my company, I saw some IOI's, she would always notice when my fly was undone, when we hung out in groups on weekends, she would hang off my arm. When we would talk she would try and extend the convo but I wanted to move on to the next thing. So eventually I decided to ask her over and see what happens.

I know you would be questioning why I decided to go after another girl despite being in an LTR, well I know this is shameless, but I felt like being out of the game so long, I just wanted to see how I would do, if my skills were intact and she grew on me.
