It's just a circle jerk of toxic women saying "How dare you!" But what would you expect from a toxic subreddit which is rooted in misandry.

The last data I saw said approximately 3-4% of men are unknowingly raising children who aren't theirs. I would ask for a paternity test too if I impregnated a woman in a country with strict parental support laws like US, UK, Japan etc. However, I would never put myself in such a situation.

I pose the question of:

Would a wife take on a maternal role for a child that her husband conceived outside their marriage, if the other woman refused the responsibility?

Would she step in and risk having to pay child support, should the marriage fail, after firmly planting herself into a maternal role?

I really don't understand how women and some of these men can be that blind. They are quick to scream her body her choice, but never equate how the man's body is used to support the kid for at least 18 years. Now screaming that the man doesn't even have a right to know if it's actually his, but should be fine with raising someone else's spawn. The comments in there are just so insane, I can't see how men can see those and still want a modern women.

Note that brigading is defined as "a concentrated effort by one online group to manipulate another." In no way was my comment an attempt to manipulate them but as a honest response to a comment that was conflating a man adopting kids and raising them of his volition vs being babytrapped with a child that isn't his. There's a big difference between these two points and it's both funny and ludicrous to see all these women defending babytrapping in the comments by creating strawmen, false equivalences, etc. This is further proof why paternity tests should be done as soon as possible.

The comment I was banned for:

This isn’t a man I’d agree to be with at ALL. Zero compassion for anyone who doesn’t carry his DNA. :-(

Men want to raise kids that are their own, i.e., the kids share the man's DNA. If a man wants to adopt kids and raise them as his own, that's a laudable goal and something that should be praised, however that's a conscious decision he made and not something that was thrown upon him. It's different to being told you're the biological father of a kid that isn't yours, and thus every man has a right to ask for paternity test if he senses foul play. In fact, I think paternity test should be administered as soon as possible even when there's not foul play involved for the peace of mind of both the woman and man but most importantly the man's.

It's not a black and white issue as you're presenting it to be, thus you're either simply willfully ignorant or outright disingenuous.

Needless to say I'm bound to believe the sub is a cave full of angry harpies projecting their own insecurities onto men. I can excuse downvoting to hell (that's their prerogative) but the fact they outright ban opinions that are opposite to their own is quite telling and a proof of the "fragility" they accuse men of. How ironic! 🤡🌎

The paternity tests are for males who want their own child. They conveniently ignore that fact and bring adopted kids into the conversation. Who would even need a paternity test when they are adopting, i mean if they are married, the woman's not even pregnant. Smh
