I realize this is just a meme but I feel the context and implications of this image perfectly incapsulate a saying: the juice isn’t worth the squeeze.
Having to constantly deal with a very emotional companion is such an exhausting ordeal. You are expected to CONSTANTLY do mental gymnastics to figure out what the new problem is. Moreover, these problems only seem to build off of each other.
To any men reading who find themselves in a similar situation, please take my advice. Get out of the relationship or at least set boundaries so she understands you want to focus on YOURSELF FIRST. You all deserve that much.
