I was taught by my Grandfather that crying is unmanly. And I nearly took that to heart since he's my only father, although the biggest setback is that he's a man of his time. Whenever I wanna cry, I stop myself and telling myself of what my grandfather told me:

Crying is unmanly. Show emotions as a man, and you're an instant target to manipulation, and abuse. Whenever you want to cry, do it alone or better, keep it inside.

The time that I was at my actual father's funeral. I never cried. Truly taking to heart what my grandfather has said to me. But at that time, I begin to question myself: Is this pain worth holding onto? Move on. You're not moving forward if you keep it in.

But to you, Men. Is crying as a man unmanly to you?
