Ok, any suggestions you could offer in keeping my mental health in a good state, it would be appreciated. For the time being and at least until December of 2021, I will be spending quite a bit of time by myself. I have a third party IT contract job that ended up working from home, I live by myself with my cat and am 54 years old.
Now, I am a Christian and as such, since I have not been married in 25 years, I also have chosen not to have sex for at least 25 years as well. Yeah, I dated someone about 21 years ago but, that did not work out and I chose not to date from that point on. (Ended up MGTOW starting at that point, even though I did not realize it at the time.) Since I am a Christian, for me personally, I will not hire a professional for things but that is my choice.
Now, I do hang out with fellow runners a couple of times a week, am an IT person personally as well so I do things daily and enjoy that and stay busy with certain youtube channels that keep me informed about things. I have ghosted society, eliminated all social media and do not mind being by myself, unlike in the past, where I hated it and could not deal with loneliness.
So, any suggestions on improving mental health for a man who spends quite a bit of time by himself? Oh, and I do read, game and I do run.
