We are not activists. We make fun of activists.

We are just a flock of dudes doing our own thing. This place is just a common watering hole that we frequent; but we could just as easily abandon it at any moment if anyone poisons the well or if we simply get bored.

Yes we exchange ideas and occasionally vent but we only do this as entertainment and not because we need it or crave it. It is simply a bit a fun. Our lives are fully independent of this place. That means we usually don't have time to congregate in chat rooms. Reddit is a easy place to hang out because these message threads can go on for weeks or even months which allow us to access it whenever we have free time.

We have a life is what I'm trying to say, this place is only a diversion.

That isnt practical. Not all of us have the time to congregate for hours. Many of us have jobs and other responsibilities. Discussion boards like these are perfect because we can all still respond to each other in our own time.

I grew up without the internet and having that perspective I think the biggest thing the internet has taught me is that people just don't like each other.
