Recently, I tried to redpilll this girl - failed due to inexperience and a Low SMV. Now, I'm "a close friend".

Hey guys, I've befriended this girl. I originally had oneitis - an infatuation for her - but I've shaken it off (Or have I? I'll explain the question later). At the start when I met her, I had the intention of getting her. After a while, we became friends. We rarely see each other, like an hour a day at most: school.

She told me a while back that she likes one of my oldest friends - I've known him for at least 9 years now. Originally, I was hurt - it happened to beta me: a girl I like wanting a friend. This is where I shook off my oneitis, though always when she mentions his name I get a weird feeling and I mentally get slightly unhappier. Since she told me though, I've been a lot more aggressive at pursuing other girls.

Recently, she's been stranger. She's telling me; "He doesn't like me back, it's just a crush - they never work ect. ect.". My response varies from "Meh, he acts different around you" to "He keeps mentioning you for no reason" to "Fuck off, I can't be bothered with this shit."

Is that being an emotional tampon?

Now, when it comes to beta-orbiter, like I've said: I'm her "close friend". We talk regularly through messenger though I limit it by doing other activities - and in school we sometimes meet in the computer room and the music rooms - where she has other girl friends with her. Now now, I know what you're thinking: I do have guy friends. When in the computer rooms I talk to other girls and shit, as well as some of my guy friends.

She fishes for compliments time and time again: I don't bite. Normally I ignore it, other times I call her out on it.

Now, here is something that Happened recently

Recently, she proposed an idea, "How about I wear no makeup tomorrow and you don't flirt with any girls" (I flirt quite a bit with other girls - both not in front of her and in front of her. Successful but unintentional dread game maybe?). I respond with "no" and didn't read any messages for a couple of hours - she was going into "Why not" "It might improve your reputation" (I've been branded a "Pedo" due to my confidence yet low SMV - makes it seem weird) and making up shitty excuses. I just replied again, "no".

Was that the right course? I think so, since the next day I was able to pull a girl in said computer room RIGHT in front of her. Also, I have a feeling she wanted to try and instill dread into me.

Can anyone explain why she did this? What were her intentions?

Alright, something that makes me different to you guys, I'm 13: Year 9. Just thought I'd add this in, it seems important.

Thanks guys in advance.
