That's a ridiculous reason. There's no way the coworker would know you'd recieved a pay rise unless your boss or yourself told him.

Tomorrow apply for new jobs elsewhere. Create a report showing the profit value you added to your current company.

Once you have a bunch of interviews, ask for time off for a day here and a day there. Don't say why, just say "I want to take a personal day next Tuesday." If your boss asks why, tell him point blank: I am going to interviews. Don't say for what or where.

Then leave the company with 2 weeks notice and refuse to train your replacement. Don't burn bridges, make it strictly a rational financial decision.

Men who change jobs every 2-3 years have the best salaries in industry.

Sounds like your boss was using your co-worker as a scapegoat for not giving you a pay increase instead of telling you the truth. Your co-worker shouldn't even know about how much you make. A lot of companies have policies set in place where workers are told they aren't supposed to talk about their earnings with their co-workers.

You need a different job. You can't trust / rely on a boss / company that gives a raise to a shit-face who makes trouble instead of to a person who's earned it.
