I think r/MGTOW has doubled in less than a year. 60.000 new subscribers is a lot of redpill rage. I remember often in mainstream media interviews the point was made that r/MGTOW was a safespace for recent converts to vent and other mgtows helped them to heal. If the moderate mgtows go their own way to r/MGTOW2 that leaves an imbalance. Is it possible that some moderate mgtows got banned because they were mistakenly perceived as trolls. I mean if a post is made on r/MGTOW criticising that the group is antiwomen I can see the mods there misunderstanding the motive. There are a lot of trolls in their comment sections.

Not to steal anyone's reddit space, but I have created a new sub called r/GYOW_OR_DIE it has a different purpose to most of these sites. Trying to avoid using MGTOW, incel, TRP type labels, in favour of what I call New-Masculinism (taking a current look at male rights). As a father of son's, I'd like to be more proactive than the MGTOW 'monk' mindset, I think what is detrimental to these groups is a clear lack of agreed principals, nobody can agree on anything.

GYOW to me isn't about being a hermit it's about being a leader. If you have any "NEW" male-centric and collaborative proactive ideas you would like to share please feel free to post.

Mgtow1 is what I call the red pill rage sub. It's not that bad it's what happen when mgtow gets mainstream.

Guys mostly joins mgtow when they just got into a divorce, breakup etc.. So they come with this mindset.

Theres a lot people from Mgtow1 who behaves like mgtow2

Mgtow2 is what I like to call "graduated mgtow" or "indifferent. Talking mostly about hobbies, other stuff and so on. Sometimes they talk about women but not that much compared to the other group

When MGTOW1 started it wasn't nearly as toxic as it is now. I think the difference is that a lot of younger guys joined in and have a lot of bitterness toward women, probably because of their recent experiences which are still raw.

Back before membership there hit 30,000 there were a lot more reasonable comments.

I’m just as guilty as anyone as posting stuff over there that is critical of women. The reason I post it though is different than many of the guys there. I don’t believe that “all women are like that.” I believe women choose to be like that, and since it’s a choice they make, I criticize them for it.

Men are hardwired to fuck as many women as we can. Many of us are completely capable of overriding those urges and being faithful to our partners. Our body tells us to cheat, but we choose to be faithful. If we can suppress our biological urges, so can women, and it’s when they choose not to that I’m so critical.

I absolutely do see your point, though, and will try to contribute positive, man-centric content here.

One thing I do want to point out: if MGTOW gets banned, they’ll likely ban this one too because of “ban evasion.” So let’s all keep our fingers crossed MGTOW doesn’t get banned.

Some of the content there is entertaining and funny, but talking about women all day gets stale for me. At this point, I’d rather get mentoring, advice and discussions about other topics which can benefit in the short and long term. My goal right now is financial independence and learning.
