I'm fairly well read in TRP principles, but recently I found out my current LTR of 8 months messaged her ex during the holidays. I found this on her phone.

I recently told her I found out about this along with my complete disappointment, and I told her calmly I cannot trust her anymore. She's very distraught obviously, typical behavior from women when they're caught. Her ex and her were in a relationship for 5 years.

She says they never met, and it isn't a big deal, and she apologizes.

Is this relationship at all salvageable through TRP lens. Perhaps withdrawing emotion and soft nexting?
