I don't post with any regularity as I use reddit as an aggregate rather than a platform for interaction. But I found myself posting to MGTOW this morning, calling for something of a reflection on the state of the sub. With some of my own perspective and ideas thrown in.

It seems that 95% of the content has turned into "MUH FEMNAZI TRIGGERED" or "HEH SHE SUFFERED LETS REVEL IN IT". This isn't what I thought MGTOW was for or at least it isn't what I was there to consume.

Naturally I was Tone Policing etc, I've not been banned and there were a few reasoned and measured responses, but by enlarge it was a whole bunch of "how dare you" and such.

I was hoping the post could be a point of reflection about what people are hoping to get out of the sub and perhaps a chance to think about the negative and toxic frame of mind (often unrealistic) that can be created by hyper focusing in some way.
I offered a hope that the sub could have more constructive or useful content rather than degrading to a point of r/incels etc.

Anyway somebody who was reasonable linked me to this sub and I'm very glad they did.
