Beta orbiter gets nothing he wants while the girl gets everything she wants. A normal friendship looks much more even. If you want to avoid being a beta orbiter, just don't offer a bunch of your resources to a girl unless she's returning the favor.

I've also heard of some RP guys saying you should NEVER have female "friends" because they only use you for validation and an emotional crutch.

That's bullshit and these guys who were, or still are losers just say that because that's a reflection of their experience - these are the only kinds of friendships with females they've ever known. Normal friendships with a female are completely possible although if one person is attracted to the other things may eventually get hairy

Never found a girl I could just hang out with as a bro. If they are a bro, and don't seek validation from me 24/7, I end up wanting to fuck them. If they seek constant validation, and are not a bro, I don't want to be around them. But I still may want to fuck them. Current weakness for me.

If your getting what you want out of a female friend, and you don't expect or want anything more then what your getting because your comfortable with yourself. You can easily be friends and are not an orbiter. If what you want and are giving is not enough for her, she gets pissy and hostile. You being the alpha male don't take that shit and wont suck up to her like an orbiter, and will forget her.

Beta orbiter wants to get into girl's pants, girl wants attention. Orbiter doesn't get what he wants (and most likely doesn't understand why), girl does.

Chad-in-the making wants to increase social proof, girl wants attention. Chad-in-the-making and girl both get what they want.

That's the main difference. There's also a couple things

Orbiter has no outcome independence, he will get all butthurt if he can't get the girl. Chad is outcome independent, if the girl won't help him increase his social proof, he will get another.
Orbiter has oneitis for the girl. Chad has options, if the girl won't help him, he'll get another.

beta orbiter wants to fuck the girl and hope that by giving his time, attention, support and overall help, she will eventually want to fuck him, and so he does give it all, in exchange for nothing.

redpill man using female friends for social proof may want to fuck the girl (or not), but knows that she won't want to fuck him in exchange for his time with her and therefore only gives her his time, attention, support and overall help in the measure that he gets equal return on his investment, aka he gives barely any.

i don't think anyone is saying you should approach a 10, everything is going well but then you intentionally friendzone yourself in an attempt to get with her friends. don't do that, just fuck the 10.

sometimes you are in a situation where there is a girl in your social group who you don't want to fuck (maybe she is a co-worker or your best bro's sister). instead of following a strict "never be platonic friends with girls" rule and just completely cutting her out of your life, you can maintain the social connection for other reasons like social proof or better access to her friends (who you can fuck). if you have good game and a relatively high smv and get this friend girl to start crushing on you, that can be even better. can be very effective preselection/social proof if you go out with a group of high smv friends and have a decent looking girl obviously orbiting you. plus they like to pay for your drinks and drive you places and do favors for you so that's cool.

just have to be careful and watch out drama, it really fucks with girls when they become the orbiter instread of orbitee. they will start trying to plan get-togethers multiple times a week so they can spend time with you. and i've had girls make semi-serious jokes about slipping me a roofie so they can rape me and get pregnant.
