If you have a cohabitation clause in your separation agreement it’s definitely possible. Alimony is usually negotiated and it really depends on the separation agreement. It can be variable or static for n years. For example my alimony steps down every year and of she gets married it’s done. Read your separation agreement carefully.

Unfortunately no. However in California if you can prove he is getting mail there and he is paying some of the bills then you can attempt to adjust support and show that her I&Es are not accurate but it’s definitely an uphill battle. FUBAR.

You need to do a consult with a Florida family law attorney asap. There is some hope for your situation under Florida law but you'll need a lawyer's guidance to help you work through it. you likely have a good argument for getting it terminated under Florida statute 61.16.

Had to pay alimony after only being married for 2.5 years? Is that normal? I was married for a little over 5 and told that wasn’t long enough to worry about alimony
