Just turn over your tax filings and all credit and bank statements for the last 5 years.

If there are special circumstances note them but unless you’re very wealthy that should be sufficient to establish income and such.

I gave her lawyer all that and copies of my commission contract. Told them the rest would be a pita and I’m not rich so they can pay for a forensic accountant if it’s not good enough.

They backed off.

I hed to do the same thing last year for my divorce. Her attorney sent a 16 page discovery request and then several pages of interrogatories. It was mostly boiler plate requests and alot didn't pertain to our situation. I did end up having to provide about 4,000 pages of documentation. It was a PITA! Her attorney didn't believe that I had provided everything ( I did), so she proceeded to subpoena all my records from my bank. All they did by that was prove that I wasn't lying about my income ( self employed) and run up her fees. In the end they didn't get nearly what they originally asked for settlement wise and my ex had a big attorney bill she had to pay. She told me after it was final that she was very unhappy with her attorney......lol

You just need to provide info pertinent to your divorce. The list provide by the atty is a generic catch all. You don’t need medical unless one of you can’t work. You don’t need loan stuff, unless obviously, you have loaned money and have a contract. It’s not that difficult to obtain tax returns, pay stubs, credit card statements and such. One thing at a time.
